A suspected drunk driver in Nanaimo was caught by a Mountie’s dashboard camera driving with just three tires after slamming into a curb.
Sparks can be seen trailing the suspect vehicle in a 10-second video taken last Friday at around 10:30 p.m.
Mounties say the alleged impaired driver drove down Labieux Road past a parked cruiser, which gave chase.
It turned onto Jingle Pot Road and hit a curb, popping off the car’s tire and causing sparks to fly.

After Mounties caught up, the driver was pulled over and given a roadside sobriety test, which he failed.
He was given a 90-day driving suspension and the car was impounded for 30 days.
It’s the second drunk-driving related incident in the city to make headlines this week.
Police said they recently stopped a woman believed to be intoxicated, and when pulled over she denied having anything to drink and instead blamed it on a sandwich she had eaten.
Nanaimo RCMP said the two incidents show that some drivers in the area have yet to get the message about the dangers of drinking and driving.
