The search has been called off for a diver missing in the waters near Race Rocks, southwest of Victoria.
The man failed to surface Sunday morning and a search by Canadian forces aircraft and coast guard vessels found no trace of him before rescue efforts were called off yesterday.
Westshore RCMP have now taken over the case.
The diver's name has not been released.
