Saanich police say they’re looking for someone who spray-painted 15 vehicles overnight, seemingly at random.
The vandalism occurred in the 500-block of Crossandra Crescent sometime between Sunday night and Monday morning.
The crime likely happened between 1 a.m. and 6 a.m. Monday, according to police.
Police say the only apparent connection between all of the vehicle owners is they all live in the same complex.
Anyone who has additional information is asked to call Saanich police at 250-475-4321 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
It’s unclear whether the incident is connected to a recent spate of car-related vandalism in Esquimalt.
Victoria police said they had received reports of up to 40 vehicles having their tires slashed in Esquimalt in the early hours of Friday, March 10.
Police said they had identified a person of interest in that crime and were following up on tips from the public.
