Victoria police say they've identified a person of interest after someone went on a tire slashing rampage in Esquimalt.
Police say more than 40 vehicles were hit over a four kilometre stretch, mostly along Craigflower Road, before 7 a.m. on Friday.
Most of the tires can't be repaired and will need to be replaced.
VicPD says it has identified a person of interest who was seen on a surveillance camera, but they need help from the public to track that person down.
Anyone with information is asked to contact VicPD at (250) 995-7654 and quote file 17-9146.
