A public information session will be held in Mill Bay next week to go over improvement plans for the Malahat.
The drop-in session will go over strategies to enhance safety on the portion of the Trans-Canada Highway between Shawnigan Lake Road and Aspen Road.
Improvements will include adding more than three kilometres of new median barrier, five kilometres of four-laning and numerous access and intersection upgrades.
Staff from the Ministry of Transportation and Infrastructure will be at the meeting to go over the details and answer any questions from the public.
The meeting will be held at Brentwood College in the Crooks Hall Building on Nov. 3 from 3:30 to 7:30 p.m.
