LANGFORD - West Shore RCMP say the park has been re-opened after a 23-year-old was attacked while running in the area Tuesday evening.
The suspect is still at large.
It happened around 7pm. The woman was running off of Shoreview Drive when police say she encountered a man who asked her for the time. She was then knocked unconscious and robbed of her phone and money.
The suspect is described as an adult man wearing a dark windbreaker with red sides, and black gloves with thick wristbands.
The woman suffered bruises and was released from the hospital later Tuesday evening.
