A fire at a residential complex in Victoria has displaced one family and caused more than $100,000 in damage.

Firefighters were called to 1039 Caledonia Avenue around 9:15 p.m. on Monday for reports of a bed on fire inside a unit on the first floor.

The building is across from Royal Athletic Park near Cook Street.

Seven adults and two children were forced out of the complex as firefighters worked to put the fire out.

No one was injured in the fire.

The cause of the blaze is under investigation and damage is estimated at $150,000.
