Prince George won't be visiting Prince George when his parents, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, tour B.C. next month, but his younger sister Charlotte may have more luck with namesake communities.

Kensington Palace still has not officially confirmed that George and Charlotte, the children of Prince William and Kate, will join their parents for the trip starting September 24th and ending on October 1st, but it's widely expected the whole family will be here.

The Royals are slated to visit Haida Gwaii and the Mayor of the Village of Queen Charlotte, Greg Martin, says the community is very excited, while Masset Mayor Andrew Merilees says the name may offer a special lure for the family.

When the royal visit was announced, residents of Prince George launched a campaign to bring the three-year-old prince to that city, but the official itinerary shows the visit will include stops in Victoria, Vancouver, Kelowna, Bella Bella, Haida Gwaii, Whitehorse and Carcross in Yukon.
